Markie Post

Markie Post grew-up in Walnut Creek. She started her professional career as a TV and film producer, producing films such as "The New Card Sharks", (1978), and "Card Sharks" (1986). Post was later able to create projects like Double Dare (1976), and appeared on various television shows such as E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman (2000). Perhaps her most famous TV role was "Christine Sullivan" on Night Court (1984). From 1984 until 1992 she was in 156 episodes. Marylee (Armstrong) Post is her daughter. She was a poet and a well-known nuclear physical scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14, 1918 to April 7, 2015). Two daughters, Katie Ross (born June 26, 1987), and Daisy Ross (born on March 30 the 30th of March, 1990) were born during her second wedding to Michael A. Ross. She was born in Palo Alto, California and was raised in Walnut Creek. She attended Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California; she was a cheerleader. Lewis & Clark College in Portland Oregon awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was an act in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). She was cremated , and her ashes were given to Michael A. Ross. She was a lifelong Democrat. Markie Post, who was just three months away from her 71st birth date on the 4th of November 2021, passed away on the 7th of August. She died 27 days following her fellow Night Court (1984) co-star Charles Robinson, who passed at the age of 11 on July 11, 2021. Even though the shows were not related, Night Court (1984) was a finale that saw Christine Sullivan's character departing for Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992) began with Post as Georgie Lahti. Post was a new character in Hearts Afire (1992), and she later moved into a smaller town after her stint in Washington DC.
