Maureen O'Hara Biography

 Maureen O'Hara was a renowned American performer and actress of Irish descent. The passionate, passionate and fiery character she played in various American films was what attracted attention to the beautiful green eyed beauty. Her beautiful and glamour was much appreciated and she was referred to as the "Queen of Technicolor in Hollywood. Her character onscreen was a reflection of her strong, courageous spirit who fought for recognition and survival in a male-dominated society. She was known as the "tough Irish girl" and did not sacrifice her fame or respect in order to obtain the roles she earned by merit. In all her years in the film arena she was always vocal against discrimination and unfair treatment towards women actors, and for this, she earned many followers. The autobiography of her, "Tis Herself", was published in 2004. It is an honest and honest description of her life, as well as the challenges she had to face when climbing the ladder of success. She was an active woman who was not frightened of carrying out her own stunts. She appeared in more than 60 films and became a cult star all around the globe. After her departure from Parra and getting married, she met Charles F. Blair Jr. in the year 1968. He was a brigadier and chief pilot and an early pioneer in transatlantic aviation. After a few years of their marriage, O'Hara decided to retire. But her joy was fleeting since Blair was killed in a fatal plane crash in the year 1978. In the same year she was diagnosed with uterine cancer and required immediate surgery. She was recovered. After that, her health began to decline and she experienced six heart attacks, memory loss in the short term and type 2 diabetes mellitus. O'Hara, at 95 years old, passed peacefully in Boise (Idaho) on the 24th of October , 2015.
