Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

 Kaitlyn Anne Vincie (born 10th December 1987) is a American journalist and sportscaster. She works for the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and also hosts their daily news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first drawn to stock car racing when she received an opportunity to race in the pit lane. After finishing her studies at Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. She garnered attention after self-made videos on NASCAR were posted on the stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 on the 10th of December in 1987. Her family moved to Warrenton following the time Vincie was accepted into high school. Vincie is the granddaughter and daughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was a fifth grade teacher while her grandfather was on the faculty at Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she had always been interested in from at an early age. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. Vincie participated in track and field competitions as well as was the manager of the school’s wrestling team for four seasons. She won the 800m race at the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and also provided Vincie with lots of information. In 2010 Vincie graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's degree in communications. Vincie worked as an intern for the athletics department at the university, and was also employed for the USAR Pro Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Vincie wrote her senior thesis about the gender gap in auto racing which focussed on Danica Patrick, a woman race car driver. Vincie became interested in the sport after receiving the pit lane entry pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her primary influences are Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda, and Wendy Venturini.
